the original skin numbing cream

I was contacted to develop the branding strategy for The Original Skin Numbing Cream, a straight to market skin numbing product for use on tattoos, cosmetic procedures, waxing, hair removal and piercings.

The brief from the client outlined that they were after a logo that embodied a traditional barber shop aesthetic, coupled with dark and rich colours that help to make this product stand out on the digital shelf.

The fallen soldiers... Below are a number of logo designs I developed while working on the Original Skin Numbing Cream logo project that didn't quite hit the mark.

Presenting a variety of design aesthetics back to the client is crucial so as to allow the client to have multiple options moving forward. These designs can alternatively be used for merchandising, socials, or marketing materials.

packaging

Below is the flat lay of The Original Skin Numbing Cream packaging.

With this product, I wanted to lean into the premium barber shop aesthetic outlined in the brief from the customer. Pairing dark greens and golds helps to complement the uses centred in the middle of the front-of pack.

amazon listing imagery

Finally, as this product was a straight-to-market product which was launched on Amazon, I was asked to develop a listing image set that spoke to ways to use the product, key USPs and directions for use.

mockups & social media

Below are examples of mockups and social media posts I was asked to develop nearing the end of the timeline for this project. I worked to source the relevant online mockups, and created graphics to be posted on the brands social media channels that helped to outline directions for use, and it's benefits.
